YCHS seeks to develop the minds, hearts, souls, and characters of students in their pursuit of becoming women and men for others. YCHS now serves approximately 100 students each year from Yap Proper and the Neighboring Islands.

Applications for admission are available beginning in January of each year and must be submitted to YCHS by the last Friday of February.

While striving for academic excellence, YCHS students are challenged with a curriculum of core courses. All students also participate in our three-week long Summer Session Program each year which includes intensive courses in Math, English, and Student Executive Functioning in the mornings and various activities, sports, and clubs in the afternoons.

Our goal is to help students develop their God-given gifts so that they can use them in the service of others. Our students strive to grow and be challenged as they work towards becoming the best possible versions of themselves. We are located on a newly-developed, twenty-two acre rural campus by Machbab Pond in the village of Lamer, Rull on the island of Yap.
